well im sure our regulars and those from further afield will have got wind of the ongoing fued we have been having with KFC.....there was us working hard in our little yellow shop when one day in april a letter arrives from KFCs legal eagles saying they were taking action against us for using the term FAMILY FEAST in part of our menu!!

to say we were gobsmacked would be an understatement, however we decided to write to them stating that we would not be destroying menus as they had demanded as we had coined the term years before them in 1992 (ok so our letter was a little cheekier than that but you get the jist)........anyway...lots of media attention ensued and we received so much support from people it was amazing...we even got a letter from a man in florida who was so outraged that his family are now boycotting the chicken giants!! fantastic!

we finally got a reply from KFCs lawyers 3 days ago saying their clients do not wish to pursue the case any further now ....hooray!

we really believe this backtracking on their part is down to the wonderful support we received and would like to thank everybody who helped us in our hour of need

also...another small thankyou to KFC...for getting us SO many more customers
